Sit back, relax and enjoy a story from renowned Wexford storyteller Joe Brennan. Joe will be dipping into his collection of myths, legends, folk and wonder tales, along with original stories. He tells stories of the sea, of trickster fairies, tall tales, of mythical creatures and mysterious guests. His tales reflect, and celebrate life, offer a balm to the soul and make the world feel a better place.
About Joe Brennan
Wexfordman Joe Brennan has been telling stories, and facilitating workshops, full time for over 20 years. He has performed at many storytelling festivals including Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival, Festival At The Edge(England), Glens Storytelling Festival(Antrim) and Listowel Storytelling Festival. He has also travelled to festivals in Norway, Belgium, USA, India, Russia, Lithuania, Austria, Egypt and Romania. He is the author of Donegal Folk Tales. Joe was ‘Artist in Residence’ with Waterford Healing Arts and continues to tell stories on the Paediatric Ward. He delivered his project ‘Tale-a-Phone’ in response to Covid, offering a phone call to isolated older people in County Wexford for a chat and a story.
