The Tea Rooms
Situated within the Dunbrody Abbey Visitor Centre and overlooking its courtyard, Aroma Tea Rooms & Café is the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee, a delicious cake, or a savoury dish after a day of adventure. Whether you've wandered through the enchanting yew maze, explored the historic abbey, or enjoyed a round of pitch and putt on our 9-hole course, you'll find a welcoming retreat here. Housed in the 19th-century stables that once served Dunbrody Castle, the tea rooms offer seating for 31 people, with an additional seating for 24 in the courtyard. The rooms serve as a showcase for local art exhibitions and curated antique pieces.
With free parking at the Visitor Centre, Aroma is the perfect stop for morning coffee or an afternoon treat. We also welcome our four-legged friends in the covered outdoor area. Our cozy tea rooms and café offer a delightful spot to enjoy a light snack with friends or relax with a delicious barista coffee while watching the world go by.
Our food
At Aroma, we offer our guests fresh Italian roasted ground coffee from Bristot, a delightful selection of teas and herbal infusions and refreshing organic lemonades. Our menu features tasty light bites, including an artisan ham and mature Irish cheddar sourdough sandwich and a chicken, homemade pesto, and mozzarella olive bread sandwich, both toasted to perfection. Indulge in our signature Italian charcuterie platters and dips, bursting with Mediterranean flavors, served with our homemade olive bread.

Birthday parties at Aroma
Let your children enjoy an exciting day full of fun and adventure! Our venue has lots of activities to keep them entertained, including navigating the yew tree maze, playing the family pitch and putt golf, and various games organised by our animators. While the kids are having a blast, parents can relax with great coffee and tasty cakes in a comfortable setting.
We offer a range of party packages to suit your needs, which include food and options for bad weather, so the fun never stops. Rain or shine, we will make sure your child's birthday celebration is unforgettable.

Open from May 1st to September 15th, seven days a week, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Lunch is served daily from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Check the Dunbrody Abbey website and social media for seasonal events and extended hours. Highchairs and baby-changing facilities are available.
